for correct use of Serafino Zani cookware

Serafino Zani has been producing stainless steel cookware since 1963.

All the lines in the catalogue are characterised by the special patented thermo-diffuser bottom (U.S. PAT. 4204607), which allows perfect heat diffusion over the entire surface of the pot with minimum energy consumption. Thanks to this bottom, it is possible to use the utensils on all heat sources: gas, electric plate, glass ceramic and induction.

The lids are designed to perfectly close and retain the substances released by the food during cooking. This makes it possible to carry out, in addition to traditional cooking, ‘dietetic’ cooking, without the addition of additional seasonings, using the water vapour or fat released by the cooked food.

The steel handles, handles and knobs are designed with comfort and grip safety in mind.

All the lines in the catalog have a great variety of types and diameters, designed to meet the needs of a demanding and creative kitchen.

Indications for correct use of the product

  • Make sure that the tool is positioned centrally to the heat source to allow it to be evenly distributed.
  • Do not keep the flame too high during cooking, and do not allow it to come out of the bottom. You risk overheating the walls and handles of the utensil and you will consume gas and energy unnecessarily.
  • Do not salt the water while it is still cold. By depositing on the bottom, the salt can give rise to corrosion effects on the steel, forming small stains on the bottom. However, the presence of these stains does not alter the quality and functionality of the tool in any way, and is not attributable to manufacturing defects.
  • Salt the water when it is hot, stirring with a spoon if necessary.

Cleaning

Steel is an extremely easy material to clean, which ensures hygiene over time.

  • First use: Wash the utensil thoroughly with dishwashing detergent.
  • Use neutral or weakly alkaline detergents. Do not use hypochlorites (bleach) or detergents containing chlorine or free chlorides when washing.
  • It is possible to wash all Serafino Zani steel lines in the dishwasher
  • Do not keep the dishwasher closed at the end of the wash; salt spray could damage the dishes.
  • To make the outer bottom shine again, use specific products for cleaning steel.
  • Always store the tool perfectly clean after use.

Warranty

Serafino Zani guarantees its tools against all manufacturing defects such as partial or total detachment of the bottom, detachment of handles and knobs (not consequent to falls or improper use), presence of cracks on the edge and/or bottom.

The warranty does not cover damage caused by falls, improper or non-compliant use that does not comply with the instructions for use reported in the previous paragraphs.

These instructions for use, supplied with the product, are essential to prevent irreparable damage to materials and surfaces.

The judgment on the nature of the fault is left exclusively to the analysis of the Serafino Zani Technical Office, which may decide whether to proceed with the repair or replacement of the tools.
